The Definitive Guide to Body Language By Allan & Margaret Pease

At Ultimate Body language we endorse this product as a great tool for beginner body language readers. It skips the mumbo jumbo of why and provides a simple action = emotion explanation for body language movements.
Allan & and Margaret Pease’s simple writing style has made them arguably the best selling body language authors in the world.  It is a great way to introduce new readers to this interesting science.

Unmasking The Face by Paul Ekman

Paul Ekman is the worlds most respected body language psychologist.  He was the scientific advisor for the TV show ‘Lie to Me’ and also the man who discovered micro expressions.  His books tend to focus on the why and are recommended for the truly passionate body language analyzers.  In this particular publication he goes into more detail about Micro Expressions and on how to spot them!

 Telling Lies By Paul Ekman

This book will leave your head spinning, but it is well worth the head aches.  It cleary defines all types of lies and also the bodilly reactions to lies.  It also highlights the common errors lie detectors make and on how to correct them.

 Lie To Me Season 1, 2, 3

This makes Body Language Analysis and Lie Detection fun.  This high budget production includes an array of famous stars in a group of fictional scenarios which clearly depict the challenges of a body language reader.  Season 1 focuses more on the fundamentals of the science when season 2 is more about entertainment.    We also recommend starting at Season 1, as the scenarios in season 2 do not clearly define the body reading fundamentals.  We strongly recommend these TV shows as it clarifies what the books define.

And unlike other body language TV shows such as the Mentalist, Lie To Me is scientifically accurate.

 The Game By Neil Strauss

This is an interesting insight into a a group of men who aim to solve the greatest mystery man will encounter in their life time, and that mystery is ‘women’  Through trial, error and study in a array of psychology techniques from Hypnotism to Darwinism these men exchange ideas on how to sleep with as many women as possible.

From a womans point of view the dating game can seem a bit unfair as the man typically asks for the dates.  This forces women to develop subtle techniques to let the men know that if they asked ‘the answer would be yes’  Women also can increase a mans interest in them by useing the flirting techniques described in this book.

From Scrawny To Brawny By Michael Meija

In the Fake It Until you make it section I made mention of how we are all hardwired to be shallow in both dating and career.  All the psychology tricks we are providing are minor compared to the advantages received from been better looking.

This book has made the most amount of positive difference in my life.  I purchased it as a scrawny 63 kg 26 year old, and rested from its training program as a 76 kg 27 year old.

If I Am So Smart Why Can’t I Lose Weight By Brooke Castillo
